Mokumanium™
rings have the look and texture of mokume gane or Damascus Steel, but are
composed entirely of aerospace grades of titanium. It is our
exclusive process, and a patent is pending on the technology.
Similar looking rings made by traditional mokume gane methods can easily
cost in the $900 to $1200 range. Unlike mokume metals, using
aerospace grade titanium allows the surface to be very hard, yet be very
non-reactive. The process can also be applied to rings with
inlays or to tension set engagement rings. The surface has subtle
texture that is not possible by other means.
