Meteorite Stripes with Inlay

The Meteorite Stripes with Inlay ring is a titanium ring with 7 strips of meteorite inlaid into it.  It also has a centered inlay of silver or other precious metals going in the direction of the ring for a touch of contrast.  The meteorite used is the Gibeon Meteorite, and is estimated to be over 4 billion years old!  The meteorite traveled millions of miles through space before landing in South Africa sometime in prehistory.  It has a unique crystalline grain structure called Widmanstatten lines that were caused by the meteorite slowly cooling over millions of years as it hurtled through space.  The ring shown is 9mm wide but also works well in the more common widths of 7 or 8mm.
