Meteorite Offset
S-Curves
This is a titanium tension set ring, but
the "stone" is a 4 billion year old metallic meteorite, known as
the Gibeon meteorite, named after the city it fell to Earth
near. The city is in Namibia, Africa, and the meteorite
fell sometime in prehistory and was discovered in 1838. It
has a unique crystalline structure due to it cooling over
millions of years in space. Metals native to Earth don't
have this unique structure. The meteorite is cut smaller
than the width of the ring, and has a girdle to resemble a
stone. This ring is 7mm wide with a 6mm meteorite.
