Meteorite Black Zirconium with Bevels

This ring has a centered inlay of meteorite in a ring crafted from Black Zirconium. Zirconium is a metal similar to titanium, but has the unique ability to be turned black. The meteorite used is the Gibeon Meteorite, and is estimated to be over 4 billion years old! It has a unique crystalline grain structure called Widmanstatten lines that were caused by the meteorite slowly cooling over millions of years as it hurtled through space. The ring shown is 6mm wide and the black zirconium has a brushed finish.
